You do not need to wait until the building is finished to start your residency paperwork. The Construction Milestones (2026 - Early 2027)

Once the main building license is in place, you sign the Private Purchase Contract (PPC) and pay the main 10% deposit. Under Spanish law, every cent you pay during the construction phase is bank-guaranteed.
